Qolo Vancouver is a concept launched by Plum to celebrate life in Vancouver and British Columbia. Qolo T-shirts are available in Plum stores and on the Qolo website until the spring of 2010. In 2009, local artists were invited to our competition in which six images were chosen for a knitwear clothing and accessory line to be sold to visitors to Vancouver in 2010. We received entries from over 40 artists! The winning designs are truly unique; inspired by iconic symbols of the west coast like salmon and Dungeness crabs to cultural symbols like Chinese lanterns, city neon signs and the famous Canadian Toque! In addition to the local designs, these t-shirts are manufactured, printed and packaged in Vancouver. Further, $3 from each Qolo T-shirt sold will go to support the Powell Place Emergency Shelter in Vancouver which is part of the women and children program of St. James Community Service Society.
